There is a large bedroom with dresser, couch, cozy chair, and small kitchenette. Oversized bathroom with heated floors, two person shower, and large soaking tub.


Enjoy the outdoor cannabis friendly landscapes space surrounded by redwoods. A smoking chair on the porch with small side table. Fire pit and BBQ with two chairs. Table and chairs, mini bar, and beautiful potted plants.


The property owner is a licensed craft cannabis producer.

About the Neighbourhood

Our property sits on five acres centrally located between Arcata (15 min drive) and Eureka (15 min drive) on old Arcata road. We sit on a hill over looking the valley and a beautiful vegetable farm and stand open 7 days a week. Arcata is a small college town with a plaza and cute local shops and restaurants. Eureka is a little bit larger small town and has a Costco, Target, and a nice downtown area.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

NO EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: Due to back to back bookings and the stringent cleaning protocols required, unfortunately we cannot arrange an early check-in or late check-out. We kindly ask that you do not arrive at the unit prior to check-in time of 5 pm and ask the cleaning staff to prepare your room early as they are on a tight set schedule. *Please note that check-out is by 11:00 AM, the cleaning staff needs immediate access to ensure the unit is ready on time for the next guests. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. There are TAXI services. My favorite is Cab Louie 707.599.3391 and Plaza Cab 707.822.4742. Uber does exist but sometimes not available. Small town. IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: PLEASE DRIVE 10 MPH on the gravel driveway. Turn onto Flying L Ranch Rd. Drive through the metal arbor. Pass the big White House on the right. Stay to the right. Stay to the right again. Drive up the steep driveway. Keep going to the end of the house towards the metal trash kennel. Park on the gravel space to your left with a guest parking sign and you have made it. PARKING: The complex has 2 assigned parking spots for the 1 unit. Drive to the back of the house and park in the gravel spaces clearly labeled with guest parking signs that say parking.    BOATS/TRAILERS/RV'S ALLOWED WITH SPECIAL REQUEST AND WILL HAVE A $5 PER NIGHT SERVICE FEE DEPENDING ON THE SIZE. ADDITIONAL PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON OUR LOWER ROAD. UNIT LOCATION: When you arrive on site, the entrance is to your left once you park in the designated parking area. ACCESS: SLIDING GLASS DOOR WILL BE UNLOCKED: You can lock the door while you are inside the unit. Currently the sliding glass door does not lock from the outside. The door will be unlocked when you leave. It is a very safe neighborhood and we are located on a private drive. We hope to have a working lock and key soon. It has been harder than expected to switch the door to a lock and key since we changed from a Master Bedroom into an AirBnB. We are sorry for the inconvenience. LOCKING THE DOOR: From inside: Push the teardrop knob located in the center of the handle down to lock and up to unlock. From outside: The door will remain unlocked until we can replace the handle with a locking option from outside with a key code. Apologies for the inconvenience. We will have a loving door as soon as possible. NO PARTIES ALLOWED: Sunset View Properties is owned by families and the quaint 177 fly 1 bedroom suite has a strict NO PARTY POLICY-ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE FROM 10PM-8AM. If there is a disturbance, you will be asked to leave immediately. QUIET HOURS: ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE FROM 10PM-8AM. This is a small family owned complexe with the host family next door. Loud noises may be heard between units. We ask that you be respectful of other guests and no loud music/TV at any time. PETS: NO PETS ALLOWED NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed inside the unit. Please NO cigarettes. HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING: The hosts keep the room at a comfortable temperature of 68 degrees. If you would like a temperature change you can request between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm. The bathroom has floor heaters that can be controlled from the thermostat on the wall. OUTDOOR FIREPLACES: the outdoor Fireplace will be stocked with paper and kindling. Firewood will be provided. If you need more just ask. Option to BBQ over the fire pit. INTERNET: Secure network: MyAtlice 7a2c3f / Password: 37-cobalt-6947. TV: No live TV service. All TVs are equipped with apps (Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure (personal account/subscription needed). To cast directly from your device to TV, you must be connected to your unit's secure wifi network. *REMEMBER TO LOG OUT. LINENS/TOWELS: *Please use the white towels for kitchenette clean up. Bathroom towels and mats are for bathing purposes only. *If towels are damaged or stained, there will be a $10 charge per item. Linens will be at full replacement cost.* TAXIS: Taxis are limited. The hosts prefer Cab Louie and Uber is available but sometimes hard to get. CHECKOUT: 11:00 AM Please help by checking out on time and returning the unit to the condition you got it as much as possible. We greatly appreciate it if you are able to wash your dishes and place used towels and linens in a gray dirty clothes basket in the bathroom for easy removal by the cleaning crew. *Remember to sign out of any streaming apps if applicable*

Guests have the right to a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of booking. Within 14 days of arrival , Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking will apply.
