Kelowna (British Columbia)/Syilx (Okanagan) – The Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers (ACCRES), BC Craft Farmers Co-op (BCCFC), Dutchie, and Saskatchewan Weed Pool has confirmed that virtual tickets are now available for the sold-out BC Cannabis Summit, which will take place in Kelowna, British Columbia from April 20 to 22.
Registration for the event opened on December 22, 2021, and was suspended on February 18, 2022, due to capacity limitations at partner venue, Eldorado Resort. So the planning committee immediately expanded the event for those who wish to attend online. Since the live stream option will increase the number of participants, the BC Cannabis Summit is being tailored to maximize the quality of the event for remote attendees.
In addition to viewing panels and speakers, online delegates will be invited to participate in the Summit’s policy process, attend virtual trade show booths, and enjoy exclusive access to streaming behind-the-scenes content. Digital registration capacity is limited and rates start at $42.00 for a one-day VIP Livestream Pass (April 21 or 22) or $71.00 for a full event VIP Livestream Pass (April 20-22). More details will be available to attendees in the coming days.
ACCRES is a non-profit, member-driven industry association that represents more than 100 storefronts across BC. It is the goal of the organization to serve as a positive, proactive advocate to protect and expand business opportunities for the private cannabis retail industry. Building a thriving and sustainable private cannabis retail industry in BC is the Association’s primary focus.
BCCFC was founded in 2020 to provide BC’s small cannabis producers and processors with a safe, accessible, and sustainable alternative to the illicit market, while ensuring BC’s top position as an international cannabis leader and innovator is maintained. BCCFC is led by over 200 highly-skilled members and supporters who are working to accelerate market access for B.C.’s legendary micro-cultivators, processors, and independent retailers.
Located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan People, Kelowna is cradled within a glorious range of mountains, is a sanctuary filled with pristine lakes, pine forests, abundant gardens, orchards and vineyards, sandy beaches, and legendary cannabis farmers and innovators. Kelowna and other nearby communities have been early leaders in understanding BC’s craft cannabis sector.
