Apartment in Lisbon

Say What? Lisbon

It's not just another apartment, it's a little museum with a private collection to discover.

This is a typical Lisbon apartment from the 1920's rebuilt in 2013, close to the city center. It fits 5 people and is ideal for families or groups of friends. Well located and close to everything — bus, metro, cafes, restaurants (including a vegan one, 50 meters away) and a grocery store just next door, with everything you need. In this apartment you'll find my personal collection of street-art, CD's, movies, books, magazines, toys and games for kids and a lot of vintage stuff to discover. Of course, many of my books and magazines are on Cannabis!

  • Master in Journalism in Cannabis

I'm a Portuguese Journalist (specialized in Cannabis since 2017), Photographer and mom of 3 kids. Say What? Lisbon (O que diz Lisboa?) is a street-art photography archive I founded 15 years ago. I lived in this apartment from 2000 to 2018 but as our family grew to 3 kids, we moved out to Ericeira and decided to share it with other travelers and families. I'll be available most of the times to give you tips and help you with anything you need.

About the Neighbourhood

Address is provided after the booking is confirmed.

The neighborhood is pretty calm with nice people, away from the busy touristic areas. There is a grocery store with all you need just next door, open everyday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m (except Sundays)., and a very good small restaurant with traditional portuguese food (cheap as well) across the street. You'll also find a very nice Vegan restaurant less than 1 minute walking. It's a very familiar environment, all neighbors are nice and helpful. Bus stop just 1 minute walking, will take you to most important connections, like Alameda or Cais do Sodré. Train and Metro station (Santa Apolónia) less than 10 minutes walking. Graça, Alfama and Flea Market at walking distance (750m).

You can use all things (except the "Private" Closets) as long as you treat them with care and leave them in the same place. I also ask you kindly not to use the street shoes up in the mezzanines. Smoking is allowed outside, in the balconies.I also remind you that parties are not allowed and silence must be respected inside the building and the apartment from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., avoiding at all times walking heavily, talking loudly or slamming doors. This is an almost 100 years old building and sound isolation is inexistent. Please respect the inhabitants!
