I discovered this little village of Westport (pop. 700) on the Rideau Lakes in 2019 and decided to open a Bed & Breakfast. I had little knowledge of all the treasures that this part of the world has to offer. Within a 4 block radius of my house is some of the best live music in Eastern Ontario at the Cove Inn, Westport Brewery, Schueremann Winery, the Rideau Trail, Foley Mountain Conservation Area, Upper Rideau Lake for Sunrises, Sand Lake for Sunsets, and an awesome bird migration experience twice a year. Who doesn't love a bit of cannabis with your outdoor adventures, beer tastings, wine tastings, and having a great time enjoying some live music.

I've been enjoying and growing cannabis for over 50 years. I have experience in the sensory assessment of cannabis products from flower, edibles and beverages. I am constantly amazed at the diversity of strains and the various effects that can be produced. I have baked with cannabis for decades as a sleep aid and use particular strains that work for me for pain control. Plus I like to be creative and up during the day. I have recently been trying various medical CBD/THC oil products that are in measured doses. I am always curious about the industry, new products and always reading new studies on the benefits of this plant. I want to help people better understand how this plant can help them cope with the affects of aging and manage out moods for more wellbeing.
