About Your Host:
I don't interact much with the guests, but I am up for a friendly chat if we bump into guests in the parking lot or house entrance. PARKING: There is ample parking space at the back of the house. There is an iron board and 2 hair dryers at the entrance bench for common use
Our building is located in the so called "South End" neighborhood. It is just beautiful! It is a residential area mainly made of "Victorian style" old houses. The neighborhood is also home to Dalhousie University, and our house is literally on Campus. The neighborhood is safe, clean and full of trees. It is inhabited mainly by middle and upper-middle class families (several schools around). During the day, you'll see lots of university students walking from one class to another. This neighborhood is sought-after because of its strategically central location, walking distance to downtown and all Halifax's attractions. The Hospital its across the road making it a perfect base for your stay in here.

Each unit has 5 containers for sorting waste: 1) paper and cardboard, 2) glass, metal and plastics, 3) organic compost (in the fridge to minimize odour and fruit flies), 4) garbage (main area), 5) garbage (bathroom). Please ensure to sort your waste into the appropriate bin and NEVER place food wastes into the garbage. Also, please do not rinse coffee grinds into the drain, these go in the organic waste container in your fridge.
